- Test – The best time for testing your swimming pool water is at dusk at least four hours after swimmers have left the pool.
- Adjust – Residual chlorine level of 1.0-3.0 ppm – pH range of 7.4-7.6 – alkalinity range from 80-120 ppm
- Clean – Empty skimmer baskets – clean tile – skim floating debris – brush walls and use a pool vacuum to clean floors.
- Shock – It is best to shock your pool late on Sunday – 24 hours is the recommended time to wait before swimming after shocking.
